Windows 10: Previously install applications on slave drive not picking up from fresh windows...

Firstly, I'm not sure this is the place to post something like this, so if not. I do apologize.



Right, getting to my problem.
My previous set up was a 128G SSD which I only had windows on with some drivers, my slave driver is a 4TB HDD which I use to install all my apps, keep all my documents, you know just everything for storage and operations.

My issue now is that I reloaded windows on the SSD and it's not picking up any of the applications on the HDD. Not from the start menu or the control panel.

When going into storage settings and trying to change where my new apps will be installed it tells me I need to delete all apps on the HDD before this can be used as the new default location.



Is there any way to fix this without me formatting that drive and installing everything from the start again ?

Windows 7 Ultimate - fresh install problem

And IDE mode harddrive is "sort of" compatible with a system set to AHCI. It usually won't boot properly, but you can use the drive as a slave.

On the other hand a AHCI drive in a system setup with Sata= IDE mode will not be recognised, period... at least AFAIK.

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Fresh windows install help.

Hi.
I have Samsung Series 7 NP7005ZA-S0AUS laptop pc. I decided to do a fresh windows install so I used a flash drive to re-install windows (I formatted the hard drive at the begnining of the installation). When the laptop booted first time in the installation process, I got a screen saying boot menu but it's empty. I clicked alt+ctl+de, the laptop restarts and gets me back to the same screen. I entered the bios and made sure the hd is on the top of the list and save/restarted but same issue. I tried loading bios default settings and that did not help either. I noticed in the boot menu that there are exclamation marks next to the HD and the SATA DVD drives, not sure what that means but they were not there before. I honestly think a bios update can do the trick but there is no way to upgrade the bios of a samsung laptop without Windows like my case so I am stuck.
Any help will be very much appreciated.
Notice: The hard drive has 8GB msata built in.
