Windows 10: Print delay with upgrade to Win11 Pro 22H2

We recently upgraded to Win11 Pro 22H2 from our Windows 10 Pro. Now when printing we have at least a 5-8 second delay when sending print jobs to our HP Laserjet P1606dn printers. Thinking it could be an energy saving issue as the printers turn off after every print job. Not so energy efficient if you ask to print again and then if finally prints twice! Is there a way or setting that needs to be changed to change this back so print jobs spool immediately that setting is set - I checked. or not to turn off the printers. Think its sending a signal to turn on the printers and that could be

:)

 

Extreme delay in printing

After last automatic upgrade, printer is very delayed in printing, 15-30 minutes. It's an HP laser jet pro. Is there a fix to this problem?

Windows update error from Win11 21H21 to Win11 22H2



Every time when I try to update Windows from Win11 21H21 to Win11 22H2, it never succeeds. When I check Event Viewer, I get the logs below:

- Commit Failure: Windows failed to commit the following update with error 0x800700B7: Windows 11, version 22H2

- Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x80242016: Windows 11, version 22H2.

"



My laptop is a Lenovo IdeaPad 5i.



I've already tried the steps below, but I'm still getting the same error:



# I Used Windows update troubleshooter to check the issue



# I Ran the following commands:

net stop wuauserv

net stop cryptSvc

net stop bits

net stop msiserver

ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old

# I Unplugged USB peripherals and retried the installation process

# I Disabled all services in the startup tab in "Task Manager"



# I Downloaded standalone package manually and tried to install Win11 22H2 using ISO Image

 

Win11 upgrade not coming

If you checked again my previous replies, you can see ASUS re-installed my new notebook a even newer Win10 Home installation. After this 2nd time installation, I only did these to the toy:

1. installed chrome
   
2. changed its display brightness
   
3. changed wallpaper
   

After your previous suggestion, the 1 month temp McAfee was gone.

I can't figure out why I can't upgrade to Win11 for such a new notebook. Newer notebook will come with Win11 natively
