  1. Print on both sides of paper not an option in Windows 11

We just switched to a new desk top computer with Windows 11. We were able to print on both sides of a sheet of paper prior to the switch, now that option does not appear when printing. Is there some way I can add it?

Default "Print on both sides of paper"

Does anyone know how I can make the default settings for my printer print on both sides of paper whenever the Print window prompts me?

I'm getting sick of forgetting to check that checkbox every time I need to print out multiple pages, whether on Word or from a PDF on Adobe, and I really despise wasting paper because of climate change. Plus, I don't having that box checked for a one-page document is really going to make it print the same thing on both sides.

Or if there is no way that I can preset this, I just want to respectfully make a strong suggestion that maybe having an option to do so in the near future would be very useful since I know that Bill Gates is trying to make a huge effort to combat climate change. Perhaps, trying to minimize the amount of paper needed to print or at least giving an option to preset might help even more.

Windows 10...printing on both sides of paper option gone!!!

Since Windows 10 updated my PC on August 27th, I no longer given the option to print on both sides of the paper. I have tried opening my document in different ways but still the same...no option to print both sides. I could do it before the update.

Option to print on both sides no longer available

    Hey,

I don't know if anyone else is having this problem, but tonight, I just noticed when printing out a document off of Google Chrome that the option to print on both sides of the paper is no longer available. I checked the printer properties dialog box and
it still indicates that my printer is capable of printing double-sided. However, the option to print on both sides of the paper doesn't exist. Any suggestions or workarounds for this problem/how I can get back the option to print on both sides?

I am trying to go easy on the environment.
