    Print preferences shortcuts locked


    Wife and I got new computers recently both running Windows 10 Home. Now our printer will not let us print on both sides automatically as we've done in the recent past on same printer. All the printer choices are locked, and it says to do it manually to print on the other side. I uninstalled the HP printer and reinstalled it, plus uninstalled drivers and reinstalled, but the four choices are still locked. Cannot find where or how to remove the locks. Has this happened to anyone else? Can you help us?

    Print Shortcuts Locked

    So I go to print the hanging file tab which information clearly shows on the page. Then when I send it to print the print page shows nothing. All my printing shortcuts show they are locked. What did I do to cause this? Always worked in the past. New
    'glitch'.

    Printing Preferences in Windows 10

    When I go to printing preferences in Widows 10 the 4 shortcuts have a locked symbol on them and I am unable to change them and as as a result I can only print in greyscale. This is a recent issue and could have arisen (not sure) when I had to remove the
    laptop battery after a lock-up, the system tells me I still have Administrator rights. Can anyone help me resolve this issue please
