Windows 10: print preview default size

I bought a new Windows 11 non-home edition PC with a 37" screen. Print preview now opens in full screen view. How can I set the default Print preview size, or at least stop the full screen mode?

Before printing PDFs from others, is there now a pre-requisite to check Paper Size until Automatic Rotation works? is it possible default print setting differs for another user?

It will only landscape for following Printer settings:

1. Default
   
2. Customized
   
3. Automatic
   

It is difficult to stop printing after first page did not come up correctly. Environmentally speaking, this is causing much paper to recycle.

The alternative are not automatic

1. NOT use automatic; this means I have to manually change setting every time I print?
   
2. My printer manufacturer suggested "Choose paper source by PDF page size”
   
3. change Paper Size by Printing to another PDF
   

Is there automation when Automatic Rotation is not working for printing Legal Paper Size?

After several days, we found another person do not have same problem with default print setting; how is this possible; is it possible default print setting differs for another user?

 

Printing images in smaller size

I understand that you are unable to print pictures at a smaller size, I’ll certainly help you with the issue.



However, please let us know:

• Which application are you using to print the pictures?
  
• When you say, “preview unavailable” are you referring to the Print Preview?
  
• Are you aware of any changes made to the computer recently?
  
• What is the make and model of the printer?
  
• Which build version of Windows are you using currently? To check type:
  winver in the search bar on the Taskbar and hit
  Enter.
  

Please reply with more information on the issue to assist you with the appropriate troubleshooting steps.

• When did the issue start?
• Were there any changes made on your computer before encountering the issue?
• What is the OS Build of your Windows 10? To know the build of your Windows 10, follow these steps:
  • Click the Windows logo (Start button).
  • Click the gear icon (Settings).
  • Select System.
  • On the left pane, choose About.
• What is the model of the printer that you're using?
• Does the issue occur on all of your images that you're attempting to print?
• Have you checked if the Print Preview window will appear if you will print the image using the
  Share tab in File Explorer? To print an image using the Share tab, follow these steps:
  • Access File Explorer.
  • Navigate to your picture files, and then highlight one file.
  • Click the Share tab at the top of File Explorer.
  • In the Send group, choose Print.
