Windows 10: Print Preview Print Pictures app CRASHING!

I Have been getting this problem since I restored my device from windows 11 to windows 10 as my PC, although it said it was supported, became slow. Since then if I try to print using print preference in and even if I don't change anything I get an error so I just skip it and print without changing the preference, then I wanted to print using print pictures thing when you right-click a picture then click print from menu the one in photo, when I clip print or change anything, the app with files explorer crashes and black screen flashes and I am sent back to the desktop. Pictures won't print

To print a photo, you may use the Photos app. Follow these steps:

• Open the Photos app and then click on the picture.
• Click the 3 dots icon and then choose Print.

• When did the issue start?
• Were there any changes made on your computer before encountering the issue?
• What is the OS Build of your Windows 10? To know the build of your Windows 10, follow these steps:
  • Click the Windows logo (Start button).
  • Click the gear icon (Settings).
  • Select System.
  • On the left pane, choose About.
• What is the model of the printer that you're using?
• Does the issue occur on all of your images that you're attempting to print?
• Have you checked if the Print Preview window will appear if you will print the image using the
  Share tab in File Explorer? To print an image using the Share tab, follow these steps:
  • Access File Explorer.
  • Navigate to your picture files, and then highlight one file.
  • Click the Share tab at the top of File Explorer.
  • In the Send group, choose Print.
• What are the troubleshooting steps that you've done so far?

 

Pictures crash when told to print


This could be anything - but it might be easy to solve. Please answer the following questions - all of them:

• Which program are you using to print the photo? The new photo app? Photo viewer? Photo gallery? Something completely different?
• And which program is crashing? "Pictures" is not the name of any photo viewer I know - but it is the name of an Explorer folder. I guess the explorer is not crashing, right?
• Which file type is it that is affected? JPG? JPEG? PNG? ...
• Does this crash occur only with one file type? Or with many?
• Or - speaking of an affected file type - only with certain pictures and not with others of the same file type?

Currently we cannot answer this question.
