    Print Screen Feature Not Working in Windows 10


    Hi. I've been trying to figure out why the Print Screen feature doesn't work in Windows 10? My computer and OS are only a year or so old, so I have no explanation why? I've been using the Snippet Tool Shift + Windows + S and that works fine. I just paste in to to Paint and Save as JPG. Print Screen does not! When I hit Alt + Prnt Scrn, it won't save to Paint or even Word! It's just not working. Here's what I know:1. There's no ScreenshotIndex file in the Registry under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer. It should be there! That may have a lot to do with it.

    Print to PDF missing in Printer List

    Hi William,

    We suggest that you disable and re-enable the Print to PDF feature. Here are the steps:

    • Click on the Start menu and type in Windows Features.
    • Choose Turn Windows features on or off.
    • On the next window, find Microsoft Print to PDF and disable it. Click
      OK to save changes.
    • Restart your PC.
    • Repeat the same steps to re-enable Microsoft Print to PDF.
    If the issue persists, we suggest that you perform the troubleshooting steps suggested on the link below under
    Advanced:

    Fix printer problems

    The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

    Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
