Windows 10: Print screen key reassign

Hi. When capturing a screenshot, on older Windows versions I would always just press PrtSc button and paste the screenshot into an image sowtware. However on my new computer there is this Snipping tool app that is extremely clunky and adds like 10 more steps just for making a screenshot, I cant use it properly - when trying to screenshot a game, it just captures the taskbar, and honestly I would really prefer the old way that takes no more than 2 seconds. However even if I disable Snipping tool via regedit, the PrtCs button is still assigned to the app so I get the error whenever I press it. I

How do I reassign Prtscrn to another program such as Greenshot

All are good questions.

• What program is assigned to the Print Screen key? Answer is I don't know. How can I find out which program is assigned to Prtscn.
• Have you tried relaunching Greenshot? Yes
• Are you getting any error message when assigning the program to the key? If yes, kindly send us a screenshot
  ANSWER: I do not know how to reassign a program to the key. Please advise.
