Windows 10: Print to PDF: Windows 10 20H2 drives me crazy

Hi there,

I see today the issue that there is no printer driver for PDF available in Win10 20H2:

As mentioned in several threads you have to select vendor Microsoft, that is okay,

but then you have to chose Microsoft Print to PDF - but there is none!

So I decided to try a repair installation - but that does not work actually in 20H2 - because it is not ready developed yet 8-

I tried as well dism and all the other things - and get maximized frustrated...


Maybe there is someone here who can help solving this? e.g. getting a zip for the PDF driver?

Print to PDF missing in Printer List

Hi William,

We suggest that you disable and re-enable the Print to PDF feature. Here are the steps:

• Click on the Start menu and type in Windows Features.
• Choose Turn Windows features on or off.
• On the next window, find Microsoft Print to PDF and disable it. Click
  OK to save changes.
• Restart your PC.
• Repeat the same steps to re-enable Microsoft Print to PDF.

Thanks for your help. I was browsing the web the other day and I found a page called FINAL DRAFT. They had a set of instructions for reinstalling the Microsoft Print to PDF utility that worked great for me. Problem solved.

 

Windows 10 and PDF printing

I have an HP Laptop which uses Windows 10 but it wont print an PDF attachment to a gmail message

I cant print art exhibition tickets which are the attachment.

Each time I try to save or print the PDF it displays Invalid Value For Registry

Any help would be appreciated but in simple steps please, as I don't understand computer jargon.
