    Print to PDF wont give me the right order!


    I am using print to PDF to try to get a collection of JPEGs to be a PDF. Whenever I select the folders, the order is completely messed up and I am not sure why it is going by the order it is. All pages are labeled Page 1, Page 2, ect and show up in that order in the folder. I found a website that had me change the printer settings from print immediately to print after last page is spooled, but that didn't help. Any workaround is helpful, as this is irritating as all get out.

    Microsoft Print to PDF mixes up JPGs.

    Hi Anita,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

    To understand the issue better, I suggest you to answer the below questions.

    • What happens when you select small bunch of images and try to print?
    • Is the issue specific to the Microsoft Print to PDF?
    I would suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps you.

    • Create a new folder and copy the images you want in PDF.
    • Sort the images as you want. (It always copies as per the sorted time/date)
    • Set the images in Order/Sequence as you want it to be set in PDF.
    • Select all and Print it to PDF.

    PDF Printing Problem With Edge

    Hi ,

    Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community.

    In order to assist you better could you please confirm a couple of things:

    • How did you try to print?
    • What happens when you try to print?
    • Did you receive any error message?
    Nevertheless, I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if this helps:

    • Open the PDF file which you want to print.
    • Click on the Ellipses which is at the top right hand corner of the Edge Browser.
    • Select Print option and then click ok.

    Print to PDF missing in Printer List

    Hi William,

    We suggest that you disable and re-enable the Print to PDF feature. Here are the steps:

    • Click on the Start menu and type in Windows Features.
    • Choose Turn Windows features on or off.
    • On the next window, find Microsoft Print to PDF and disable it. Click
      OK to save changes.
    • Restart your PC.
    • Repeat the same steps to re-enable Microsoft Print to PDF.
    If the issue persists, we suggest that you perform the troubleshooting steps suggested on the link below under
    Advanced:

    Fix printer problems
