HP 3055 printer not discovered on network

I am using, or trying to use, an HP 3055 all in one on my computer which is also HP, running windows 10. This printer is connected to my home network router by Ethernet cable. This configuration worked in the past, for years on windows 7, for nearly a
year with this computer on Windows 8, but now will not work with windows 10. I have run the printer troubleshooter, and downloaded and installed the latest software from HP, I have delete and tried to reinstall the printer using manual settings (auto detect
did not work). The driver is installed, I get a message saying the printer was installed successful, but when I try to print a test page, an error message pops up saying "unable to print"; the job appears in the printer queue, but does not print. Curiously,
my Canon wireless printer installed automatically and works fine. Any suggestions?

1. What is the exact error you receive while printing?
   
2. Do you face the same issue while printing from any other application?
   
3. Is the PC connected to domain environment?
   

Meanwhile, I would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below and check if that helps.



Method 1:



Try fixing printer issues with the HP print and scan doctor. You can download and run HP print ad scan doctor from

HP website

Try running the Windows 10 troubleshooter and see if that helps. Refer the article

Printing issue with HP Laser Jet P1005

Hi Friend,

Please try to following trouble shooting Steps:

• 
  Turn off the printer using the power button and then unplug the printer power cord from the power outlet.
  
• 
  Save your work. After using these steps, your current print jobs are lost and will need to be printed again.
  
• 
  Open Windows Services using one of the following methods:
  • 
    Search Windows for services, and click Services in the list of results.
    
  • 
    On your keyboard, press Windows key (
    
    ) + R, type services.msc in the window that opens, and then click OK.
    
• 
  Scroll through the list of services and find the name Print Spooler.
  
• 
  Right-click Print Spooler and select Stop.
