Windows 10: Printer and Chromecast available only when on ethernet

I have a strange problem, when I'm connected on wifi I can't see the chromecast or neither any hardware shared on the newtwork like the printer. As soon I connect with the cable everything become visible and even after going back to Wifi all the remote devices in the network are available, but once I restart win11 the devices are unavailable again. I've tried to change all the specific Wifi settings private/public networks, stop the firewall etc... But it didn't solve anything, I always need to connect with cable to see the remote devices. Anyone can help with that? I have the feeling tha

First, I would suggest installing the actual driver package from Brother. While the printer may work with the fairly generic drivers that come with Windows 10, I've always found that I get better results from the actual Brother drivers.

I have a rather old Brother printer so the exact steps may be a bit different from yours, but in my case when I install the drivers it will search the network for available printers and allow me to specify the printer that it finds. If it does not find a printer, it may ask you to initially setup the printer via a direct connection (USB), and then configure the printer for network use (WiFi).

In any case, the installation wizard should guide you through the steps.
