Windows 10: Printer- attention required

Hello, I am having an issue where when i print a test page, a notification pops up that says attention required. I click it and it opens the print queue. I have tried restarting the spooler service, and the message doesnt go away. I have tried restarting the computer and the printer, and i have removed the printer device from the list in devices and printers and adding it back. The message is still there. I have tried using the troubleshooter, but that only works for regular pages, not for test pages and only once per document. I would like to get rid of this message so my mom can print in pea

I would suggest you to remove the printer driver completely and then try to reinstall the driver from manufacturer's website.

In order to uninstall the driver, follow these steps.

• Press Windows key + X, click on Device Manager.
• Search for the “Printer” device from the device list, right click on it and then select “Uninstall”. On the
  un-installation window, if you have an option: “Delete the driver software for
  this device” you may select that and then remove its drivers from the computer.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to complete it and the restart the computer if prompted.

Printer- error message "Attention Required"

HP Envy 5541: Attention Required but no information given

Because you are using a wireless printer connection, your situation is that the printer is offline. After the printer is offline, the default printer becomes an offline printer. We try to turn off the network card sleep and printer sleep.

If it does not work above, we try the following method:

1. Print Website Pages With an Alternative Browser
   
2. Disable Protected Mode in Internet Explorer
   
3. Update Drivers
   
4. Install the latest updates
   
5. Restart the Print Spooler service
   
6. Make sure that your printer is properly installed or reinstall your printer.
