Windows 10: Printer cuts off top of document

Suddenly, everything I print starts at the top of the page. There is no top margin. What does print is missing the top few lines of text. The print preview is fine and the margins are set a 1". I've switched to a different printer with the same result.



I've removed and reinstalled both printers. I've check for hardware ands software updates and everything is up to date. I've contacted the manufacturer HP but its response was that it was printer hardware problem. I question that as it happens on two different HP printers.



Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

• 
  Open Microsoft Edge.
  
• 
  Click on (…) at the top right corner.
  
• 
  Select print option.
  
• 
  Under printer click on drop down button.
  
• 
  Click on Add printer.
  

Try to print documents and check if the issue persist after adding the printer.

Printer cuts off top of every page

I'm not tech saavy so I'm not too sure what that means - but I got a new laptop and it came with windows 10. My old laptop didn't have that. The tech at the store said if I turn it on and it prints then I'm good to go. Well - it does print., But that
top .25 inch cuts off everytime. Any suggestion on how I update the driver?

I have an HP officejet 6500 A Plus printer. The laptop is a custom built with intel core i5, windows 10. Not sure what else?
