Windows 10: Printer fix that always works best 2023

I would Clean Install the printer which almost always works, lasts longer and actually saves time. Windows still needs the full feature software to properly run all the features of a printer/scanner, just a driver and/or the new apps are not mature enough to be fully reliable. How have you connected the printer to your computer? Is it wired or wireless connection?

I suggest you to follow the methods below and check if it helps.

Method 1: Run Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter

Follow these steps to run Hardware and Devices troubleshooter:

• 
  Press Windows key + X and click on
  Control Panel.
  
• 
  Select Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Select View all on the top left corner.
  
• 
  Click Hardware and Devices.
  
• 
  Follow the on-screen instruction to run the troubleshooter.
  

Method 2: Uninstall and reinstall the driver

I suggest you to try uninstall the Mouse, Touchpad and Printer drivers check if it works for you.
Follow the steps below:

• Press Windows Key + X key and click Device Manager.
• Right-click on the Touchpad device listed and click on ‘Uninstall’.
• Select the option to Delete driver software.
• Follow the same steps to uninstall Mouse and Printer drivers.
• Restart the computer after its uninstalled.

Try to access the device manufacturer's website and download and install the latest chipset, touchpad and Printer drivers.

• Are you able to access internet in the system?
• Are you able to see printer in devices?

Windows has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Internet connection. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your internet.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.
• Change the view by option on the top right to
  Large icons.
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the
  view all option on the left panel.
• Run the Internet Connection troubleshooter and
  Hardware and devices troubleshooter.

No printers work any more

• Can you walk us through all the troubleshooting steps that you performed so that we can avoid giving you the same advise?

For now we suggest that you run the built-in printer troubleshooter and check if it resolves the issue. Here are the steps:

• Press Windows key and X and select
  Control Panel.
• Click on Troubleshooting.
• On the left pane, select View all.
• Look for and run the Printer troubleshooter.
