Windows 10: Printer goes offline after reboot - Every danged time!

My printer goes offline and requires a lengthy troubleshooting and reinstall sequence to get it working again every single time I log out, reboot, or update. This same printer works just fine from my Android devices. If I had any hair left, I'd be pulling it out!I followed an old thread on this that offered no solutions. The printer worked fine at first.

I set the IPv4 address to 192.168.1.200
ipconfig shows it as 192.168.1.200
The printer still shows 192.168.1.5
What did I do wrong?

 

The printer automatically goes to offline and disconnected.

Hi,

A HP printer automatically goes to offline and disconnected. The printer is connected with a Windows 10 Home laptop.

I did..

• Printer reset.
• Printer power cycle.
• Replaced printer cable for connecting with laptop.
• Plugged to another USB port of the laptop.
• Uninstalled and reinstalled the printer driver.
• Checked in both connections (wire and wireless).

In both cases (wire and wireless) and after reinstalling the driver it works fine for sometimes.

After sometimes, it goes offline and disconnected automatically. Also it works fine while printing offline files and gets offline and disconnected while printing online docs/ webpages.

Please let me know, how to fix this issue?

The address assigned to the printer, 192.168.1.5 is shown as belonging to another computer (Charlotte) on the local network.
