Windows 10: Printer going off line

I have a Lenovo laptop with Windows 10, and a Epson printer. When I go to print it says printer off line. I have to turn it off then back on to print. This is very frustrating. HELP!!!

Printer "off line"

Windows 10, HP printer keeps going "off line" on its own. Then can't find it when I go to Device Manager. I tried removing device to add it again, can't find. So can't even get to square one in order to put it back on line

When I go to Device Manager, I am supposed to expand "Printers", but "Printers" does not come as an option...only "print queu" which is NOT the same and doesn't list my printer anyway

Printer keeps going "off line"

Go to your Printer Manufacturer's website > Key in your Printer Model Number and Operating System.

Uninstall/reinstall your Printer using the latest Drivers from there for your Operating System.

Most Printer Manufacturer's will also have troubleshooting steps for you to take listed there, too.

And printer manufacturers normally have their own support forums.
