Windows 10: printer instalation

i can connect to my network nut not to the printer. i get same error message the the print driver is not available. Updating drivers does not work. I have a Brother MFC-L2740DW laser printer. my $200 tablet and i phone 12 connected automatically.i upgraded to windows 12 but it still does not work and I can find very little trouble shooting concerning iphone 12

Denis - I'm afraid I don't understand what you mean by: " I suggest you click on your Start menu's HP group..."

However, I carried out your steps 2 and 3 and removed the printer then restarted the PC and the printer returned so nothing achieved. Could you please elaborate on step 1, thanks.

Although the HP support forum is a good place to ask this question, I have some doubt whether you'll actually get a useful answer. As far as I can see, the main suggestion there is to completely uninstall and reinstall the HP printer software. That may
or may not work. I didn't notice any positive responses to such suggestions.

How do you want to connect the printer to your computer: USB or wi-fi?
