Windows 10: Printer no longer working from computer after last update

My HP Envy 7645 quit printing from the computer after the last update. It does print from our iphones though.


Is there a phone number I can call and actually speak with a human being to get this fixed? I have tried everything I can think of and have already spent hours on this issue, through no fault of my own.

Direct connection to networked printer no longer working

The issue I'm having concerns a printer and a few computers. The printer and computers are on different domains, but on the same network. The printer was added to the computers directly using the printer's IP address. Something changed however, and now the
printer is either listed as "Offline" or "Out of Paper". I did some searching and tried all the suggestions. Cleared the spool cache, restarted the spool service, updated the driver. Nothing has worked so far.

I'm at a loss, and any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

• Which troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

  Have you installed any third party software in compute?
  

I suggest you to make printer as a default printer you can follow the below steps:

• 
  Press Windows key+ X and select
  device manager.
  
• 
  Select devices and printers
  
• 
  Right click on the printer you want to use, and then click
  set as default printer (You'll see a check mark on the printer's icon signifying that it's now your default printer).
  

I also recommend you to run the print troubleshooter to check the issue.

• 
  Type troubleshooter in the search box and then press enter.
  
• 
  In the left pane click on View all.
  
• 
  Select the printer option and
  follow the on screen instructions.
  

If the issue persists, I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the printer drivers and check if it helps

• Press Windows key+ X and select device manager.
• 
  Select devices and printers.
  
• 
  Right click on printer driver and select uninstall.
  
• 
  Now try to install the printer drivers from manufacturing website.
