    Printer only prints one copy no matter how many multiple copies I enter


    Windows 10 Surface Pro is the PC that I'm trying to print multiple copies of a document from.

    Canon Copier is what I'm trying to print to.

    Are there any suggestions on fixing this?

    This IS NOT a HP Printer: The below fix does not apply. Oh, how I wish it were that easy!

    Disable Mopier mode - this mode is used when the printer has an EIO hard disk installed. If the printer doesn’t have one, it will only print one copy.

    1. Open the (Devices and) Printers Control Panel.
    2. Right-click on the printer, and choose (Printer) Properties.
    3. Click the Device Settings tab.
    4. Scroll to the bottom of the list, and change “Mopier Mode” to “Disabled”, then click OK.

    My printer (Brother MFC-J985DW) works fine when printing a single copy from an application Whenever I select more than one copy, nothing prints.

    A canned response from Brother states This issue is typically caused by a damaged Print Spooler or Print Processor, which are components of the operating system that control printing. As a work around, you may set the driver to "Print Directly to the Printer".

    That's correct. That is a work around, but I don't think it's the right long term solution.

    How do I correct the "damaged Print Spooler"?

    Unfortunately, I don't see any of those options.

    I think I originally installed the driver from a CD that came with the printer and I think multiple copy printing used to work, but I'm not absolutely certain.

    I'm wondering if this got broken by the "Creators Update", but I don't l don't know.

    Trying to get and install the latest driver from Brother is a good idea,.

    problem with printing multiple copies

    I just acquire a n ew laptop with windows 10. when I try to print lets say 20 copies of a document, the printer prints 3 copies and pause for 20 seconds before printing another 3 copies, and so on. I know that the printer is ok because when I use my old
    computer it prints the 20 copies with no interruptions. help!
