Windows 10: Printer printing hundreds of pages when a single print is sent

I recently installed windows image on a corporate device and tried printing a file.

I sent a 1 page print but the printer ended up printing 536 pages in total. The fonts were all scrambled.

Is this a known Win10 issue or could it be an issue with the image I have installed?


I have already

1.tried reinstalling the printer drivers.

2.Tried adding a different printer but that printer didn't print any print jobs sent from the laptop. All the print jobs were getting reset by the printer.

3. Tried printing with a different laptop from the same printer which was printing 5363 pages, and it was fine.


I know there is nothing wrong with the printer since it was fine for a different laptop. I want to know if its the image that has an issue or are others facing the same?

Printing sent to non-default printer

Hi,
I'm running a win10 Pro system. When I try to print a file, the default printer is shown. Though, the document isn't sent to my default print (Brother MFC-430W Printer). Instead it shows up as a piece waiting in the queue of Foxit Editor PDF Printer (which shows in my Device and Printers list, or in MS PDFCreator, which doesn't show on this list.
How do I bring my default printer back to the fore?

Addendum: This problem shows while I try to print an Office document or when I print from my browser. Strangely, when I type to my Bullzip PDF printer, I manage to print the file from my Adobe Acrobat DC program.

 

Error - Printing on Network printer

We have 4 printers on our Windows print server. The server was migrated from win2k3 to 2k8 on friday. 3/4 printers are working great, the other is having issues. When trying to print a test page to it, it gets a job status of Error - Printing.

When sending a small word document to it, it sends it to the printer, the queue is empty but nothing prints. If I goto the printer itself, it doesnt show any errors and I can print things such as information sheets and diagnostic files just fine.

All four printers are the same model, all 4 have a static IP. I can ping the printer successfully. I've tried printing from both an XP machine and the print server itself. I tried removing and adding the printer on the print server. And lastly, uunplugged the printer for 30 seconds, plugged it back in.

Any ideas?

 

HP printer Teflon Change (Printing speed decrease)

Hp printer Teflon is damaged (Due to this paper get wear out while printing ) so i take the printer to the shop and the person changes the Teflon but after changing the Teflon the print out of the paper problem get solved. But as my printer can print 11-12 pages per minute but now it is only printing 3 pages per minute (The time that consume during print is due to the sucking of the page in the printer after sucking of the page in the printer the speed is ok).

Can some one please confirm is this possible due to the Teflon change.
