Windows 10: printer problems

recently purchase a dell laptop and they installed windows 10 and office 365 now i am not able to print to my laptop. Always had a dell desktop and it printed fine to the Epson printer. now with the new installations I cannot print. I have been going back and forth with Dell and Espson and neither has fixed the problem. Now I am contacting you. I do want to get the problem solved. I am a consumer and it seems someone would want to assist me in fixing the problem. PLEASE HELP ME PRINT FROM MY LAPTOP TO THE EPSON PRINTER. Epson said purchase a USB 2.0 computer printer cable cord and I did and the printer printed one time while the tech was on the computer. Today I tried to print again and now i have 3 document waiting to print. i do not understand what is going on with the printer so please respond to my concern. I have heard from Dell it a driver problem it is a microsoft problem, Epson said tell Dell it is a drive problem. The bottom line it is my problem since all have passed the problem on to the other. Can you assist? BEFORE I SUBMITTED I CHOSE PRINT 3D because I did not see my problem listed

• Have you tried any troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue?

I suggest you to try the below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to update the drivers for printer and check.

• 
  Right click on the Start button from the desktop and select
  Device Manager.
  
• 
  Locate and expand Print queue.
  
• 
  Right-click on the printer driver
  that is listed and click Update driver software.
  

Step 2: I suggest you to run the printer troubleshooter from
“Fix printer problems”
and then check if this fixes the issue.

Printer offline problem persists

In order to help you better, could you please confirm a couple of things:

• Is it a wired or wireless printer?
• Is the printer connected via network to your computer?

I suggest you to follow the below methods and check if it helps.

Method 1: I suggest you to make printer as a default printer you can follow the below steps:

• Press Windows key+ X and select
  device manager.
• Select devices and printers
• Right click on the printer you want to use, and then click
  set as default printer (You'll see a check mark on the printer's icon signifying that it's now your default printer).

I suggest you to update the drivers for the printers and check if it helps.

Method 2: I also recommend you to run the print troubleshooter to check the issue.

• Type troubleshooter in the search box and then press enter.
• In the left pane click on View all.
• Select the printer option and
  follow the on screen instructions.

Method 3: Also I suggest you to run the troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.
