Windows 10: Printer Properties Problem, Please help.

Hello everyone, my colleague is using Windows 10 Professional OS. They installed an EPSON dot-matrix printer in the 'Devices and Printers' section of the Control Panel. I set this driver to use Letter paper size for printing. However, I've noticed that when printing from software like Notepad or Google Chrome, this EPSON printer uses A4 paper size instead of following the setting I configured in the Control Panel. Is there a way to set it so that no matter whether using Notepad or Google Chrome, this EPSON printer always uses Letter size paper?

• In the search box type “control panel”.
• Click on “device and printers”.
• Then you can right click on your printer and then click on properties, change accordingly.

• Have you installed the latest drivers for your printer that is compatible with your current Windows version?
• How is your printer connected to your computer? Are you using a cable or wireless connection?

Method 2: Install the drivers in Compatibility mode.

I would suggest you to install the latest available drivers on manufacturer's website in compatibility mode.

Follow the steps below on how to install driver in compatibility mode:

• Download the driver from the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.
• Right click on the setup file of the driver and select “Properties”.
• Select “Compatibility” Tab.
• Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.
• Let the driver install and then check the functionality.
