Windows 10: Printer Sharing errors since update to Windows 11Pro

Hi, One of our PC's has recently updated to Windows 11 pro.All going well, except we have other PC's that print to a shared printer connected by USB cable to this PC.At least that's the way it used to be before the update. The other PC's are a mixture of Windows 10 and 7.Some have software already installed that would require considerable expense should the OS on them be upgraded so that can't be done.Since the upgrade we cannot print to the shared printer from any other PC. Only the windows 11 PC can print.What fix can be applied to this?I can see the printer on any other PCs network in

Step 2: Buy a less shitty printer.
Step 3: Pick up some beer while you are there.
Step 4: Enjoy both your new printer and your beer.

In all seriousness, I have had more issues with Lexmark printers and their shitty drivers then any other manufacturer, HP is a close second though.

However, if you don't want to get a new printer*Laugh :laugh:, and I can understand that, when my Lexmark was giving me the same troubles in Win7(and Vista) I had to make sure the Windows firewall was ON and the firewall service was enabled and running. After I shared it I could re-disable the firewall and firewall services.

Yeah, I have windows firewall disabled, and I don't use any other firewall... mostly to prevent stupid issues like this.

Cannot connect to shared printer Error code: 0000001b

Hello!

Yesterday our printer failed, so we replaced it with a new one. I shared it so other colleagues can print. When I tried to connect to the shared printer wither from Devices & Printers or from Network, I got the error code 0000001b. All computers are running Windows 10 v21H2, network is set to Private, sharing is enabled. I read elsewhere that I should uninstall some recent Windows updates. I found no matching update in the list. Also elsewhere suggested to enable SMB 1.0, didn't work. Any other solution?
