Windows 10: Printer will not print after replacing color ink cartridge.

My hp2130 deskjet will not print. I installed a new color cartridge and got one picture printed last night, but today it flashes as though it is out of ink, and the printer will not print at all. I tried another new cartridge but it didn't do any good. Tried turning the printer off & back on, removing/reinstalling the cartridge, etc, and no help. After printing the page last night, there was a paper jam and I pulled the crumpled paper out. I have done that before with no problems, but now the printer won't print. How can I fix this?

Printer not printing in color

1. Take the color cartridge out

Use a small amount of alcohol on a cotton swab to not only clean the print cartridge but the inter nodes where cartridge connects.

2, Change the Color setting in your printer software to Color. For instructions, see Using the Automatic mode for Windows or Using the Automatic mode for Macintosh.

Adjust the color settings in your application or in your printer software's Advanced dialog box. For instructions, see Making Advanced settings for Windows or Making Advanced settings for Macintosh.

Run the Head Cleaning utility. If colors are still incorrect or missing, replace the color ink cartridge. If the problem persists, replace the black ink cartridge. See Replacing an Empty Ink Cartridge.

Do not use ink cartridges beyond the expiration date printed on the cartridge package. Also, if the printer has not been used for a long time, replace the ink cartridges. See Replacing an Empty Ink Cartridge.

3. Try one or more of these solutions:

Make sure the color data settings in your application are correct.

For Windows, make sure Color or Color/B&W Photo is set in the Main menu. See Making Settings on the Main Menu.
