Windows 10: Printers broken, driver problems, adding printer problems. Win 10

This problem started because Brother MFC-J6920DW would not print correctly at letter size.Problem printer was deleted, including 'IPP Class Driver' and now I am unable to successfully add any printers. They either load up and simply say 'Driver is unavailable' or appear to hang up after clicking on 'add device.'I have gone to the manufacturer's web site and manually downloaded the drivers and installed the drivers. Under 'Print Server Properties' I can see the driver, I can see the printer with 'Driver is unavailable' below the printer. If I open the printer and go to the driver tab I can not

Printer problems

This is probably an easy fix, I just cant seem to locate it myself. I have a printer hooked up to one of my rigs on my network. I have no problems with 4 out of the 5 on my network printing remotely. The one that is not playing nice is my wifes laptop. All of the rigs that work are all Win 7 ultimate. The one thats not happy is running stupid Vista Home. I loaded the drivers for the specific printer (cannon dc320 copier/printer), but it will not print. Is there anything that I need to do specifically to Vista to allow remote or network printing? It see's the printer and everything... it just no workie.

 

epson printer problems

H RCoon I done the wifi setup on the printer and the printer will print out a test sheet but when I try to print from the pc the printer page just sits there with 0 of 0 printing, when I go into printers and devices there is an exclamation mark on the printer I double clicked the printer icon and now there is a tick on it but it still wont print and when I run the troubleshooter attached to the printer it says restarting the spooler device. I never had this problem before usually once I use the disc it works with no problem. how do I check to see if the printer is connected to the router. I just tried it from my phone and it is printing with no problems.

 

Mac OSX USB printer problem

OK i just bought the Canon IP4500 usb printer and installed it on the mac following hte instructions to the letter.

No printer is found and i cannot add it in the Printer list, cause theres no option for USB printer installation, only Appletalk, Bluetooth, and Windows Printing.

I have downloaded the latest drivers etc... but no luck *Bang Head :banghead:

As it is i dont like macs but now with a simple thing as this i dislike them even more.

Last resort is trying installing the printer on a Vista pc and see if it works, if it does then the mac is up to shit, if it does not install then the printer is up to shit.

Anyone had a similar problem maybe and how did you overcome it?
