    Why is it that printing an email or it's content from Mail sometimes works and then at other times does not. It's very frustrating.

    • Are you able to print other documents other than the emails?
    • Did you accessing your emails from the browser and check if you are able to print the emails?
    • What is the make and model of your device?

    W10 Mail Won't Print Emails...

    I recently installed W10 Mail and Calendar and all works well except print from Mail. I select Print from the drop down menu and the print window opens. It identifies the attached printer with all of the correct format options. The printer is obviously on and is set as the default printer for Windows. When the Print button is clicked, the window closes and nothing happens after that. The files in the printer's queue are empty, so Mail must not be communicating with the printer or sending the print to the printer. The printer has the latest drivers installed and all other apps. will print to the printer (Epson Artisan 837) just fine and always have. Windows Live Mail will also print with no issues, but we don't use that anymore due to issues with e-mails from some social media platforms. I've searched the forum for this problem, but found no relevant thread. Suggestions welcomed. Puzzled in Ohio.

    Hi,

    For the better clarification of the issue, please answer the following questions:


    • Are you getting any error messages while trying to print the emails?

    • What happens exactly when you try to print an email?

    • Are you able to print any other document?

    • How are you accessing emails, through web browser or mail app?

    I would suggest you to try printing the emails from a different browser.

    If the issue still persist, try the troubleshooting steps in the below article and check if it helps.
