Windows 10: Printing from Edge does not work

Discus and support Printing from Edge does not work in Browsers and Email to solve the problem; Printing is not working from Microsoft Edge.     Printing from Edge does not work


    Printing is not working from Microsoft Edge. Printing is working from all other Windows programs (e.g. Word, Chrome etc). It does not matter if I try printing a web page or a PDF - same error. Same error also for all printers in drop down - no matter if it is an ordinary printer or a pdf writer.

    No matter what printer I select in the Printer dropdown, it displays the text:

    "We couldn't reach this printer. Make sure the printer is on and you are connected to the printer's network, or try a different printer."

    I have a clean install of Windows 10 - not an upgrade.
    I have tried:
    * Run all troubleshooters - both for all printers and Windows Store
    * Run "sfc /scannow" from elevated command prompt
    Nothing seems to work. I can see a lot of these issues concerning Edge and printing - so it might be something MS needs to look into.
    Any ideas?
    This is the error screen - the same error occurs no matter what printer I choose.

    problems printing from Edge Windows 10 1703-15063-483

    the printer is an HP 7640 Envy. Keep in mind the only place that does not work in printing is with Edge. Edge sees the printer but will not connect to it. I can print from IE, notepad, word/excel with absolutely no problem. The problem has to be with
    EDGE which worked ~two weeks ago.

    I have Windows 10. How do I get Internet Explorer 11 to work?!? I want to print a selected block of text, but I cannot

    print from MicroSoft Edge. MicroSoft Edge is fine for doing searches, etc. But I cannot print with MicroSoft Edge. I read on someone else's earlier post that I had to be on Internet Explorer to print. But I cannot even get Internet Explorer to work since
    I upgraded to Windows 10. Does anybody have any ideas?

    Windows 10/Edge was officially released many months ago. But the EDGE browser has not improved its printing capabilities one bit. It's still a frustrating piece of chit when it comes to printing flexibility, and even accuracy. If you're looking at page 3 of a 6 page document and choose "Print Current Page", this crazy browser will print page 6!

    I don't want or expect any replies. Just came to this thread to VENT. *Mad
