Windows 10: Printing from Mac to Windows 10

I have tried both connecting from my Mac using Windows Sharing and LPD and have the same issues. The print jobs are sent to my Windows 10 print queue with a page count of 0 although I do show ie; 53925 bytes. The job will sit for a second then disappear without printing. The data type is RAW which I believe is expected but I'm not sure if 0 pages is.Should I be able to see a page count or is there another issue that is preventing my jobs from printing?

Cant get Mac Book to share Windows 10 printer


Hello -

Been tearin' my hair out a little on this one, have scoured the net and posted on a couple Mac forums to no avail.

PC is a brand new tower running Windows 10 & I love it but I cant seem to get my Mac laptop to connect to the Kodak c310 AIO printer when I hook it up to the new tower. It connects to my old Mac Pro tower easily over the same LAN.

The LAN is an ether-net using a Linksys 4 port router. The Mac identifies the tower as being on the network and seems to try to print to the Kodak but then just hangs at sending the data. As I said above, it prints fine over the same network to my old Mac tower.

Enabled LPD protocol & printer sharing in Windows 10.

Printing web pages in Windows 10

• Are you able to print via Internet Explorer 11?
• What kind of contents and extensions do you want to print?

I suggest you to perform the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps:

Method 1: I suggest you to follow the steps below to print documents in the Windows 10 Edge browser and check if it helps:

• 
  Once the document is open in Edge, press
  Ctrl+P or More actions button at the top last end of the browser.
  
• 
  Click Print as PDF button.
  
• 
  Check if the document prints as expected.
  

If the above steps did not work, try the next methods.

Method 2: Set your printer as default.

• 
  Press Windows key and type
  Control Panel.
  
• 
  Click on view by and select large icons.
  
• 
  Open Devices and printers.
  
• 
  Right click on your printer and select set a default printer.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
