Windows 10: Printing from mail

Hi

When i Print an email, it prints 1/4 the size it should, as if it is trying to print 4 pages on 1. THis is the first time i have seen this as i hardly ever print emails. Documents etc print correctly, just the emails are doing this. I have a Lenovo Yoga 300, using Microsoft Edge, Microsoft mail, and Canon printer.

I have tried to check settings in the mail app as i thought this must be the problem considering that all other apps and programs respond correctly with the printer.

Windows 10 Mail app won't print some messages

using the Windows PowerShell. To do this, we suggest that you follow these steps:

• Click Start, type Windows PowerShell, right-click on it, then select
  Run as administrator.
• Enter the command below:
  • Get-AppxPackage *windowscommunicationsapps* | Remove-AppxPackage, then press
    Enter.

Once done, we suggest that you download theWindows 10 Mail and Calendar app from the
Windows Store.

How do I print e-mails in windows 10 Mail

• How are you trying to print the email? Is it from the mail app?
• What troubleshooting steps have you tried to fix the issue?
• Is your printer attached to the system?

Whenever you open a mail, press CTRL + P simultaneously. You will get the option to print.

I suggest you to run App troubleshooter if the issue is regarding the mail app.

  Type ‘Troubleshooting’ in the search next to start.

  Click on ‘View All’ on left side and select ‘Windows store Apps’.

  Follow the onscreen instructions.

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)
