Windows 10: Printing from the Windows 10 Snipping Tool & Making the Image Fit One Page

It takes a little adjusting to print from the Snipping Tool and make the image fit on one page. In this case I am printing from a selected part of an Excel spreadsheet. Whether printing in Portrait or Landscape mode, the image will overflow to a second page in the normal 100% Excel view. If you adjust the Excel view from 100% or higher, down to 75% it will still overflow. You must select 50% and the image will fit either orientation. Hope this helps!

Windows 10 Snipping Tool on Windows 7

All it is is one extra step beyond what is native to windows 10. Yes, technically it would be easier to have the functionality of print built in to the Windows 7 version, but you just have to save it ,and right click on it ,and print.

As far as getting the windows 10 version into windows7. I know there was a way to get the old winpaint, so maybe there's a way to get the snipping tool into 10, I don't know.

Snipping tool prints large images as blank pages

I ran into this same issue and after troubleshooting it seems that Snipping tool does not have a "fit to size". Anything smaller than the printing size of the page will print fine, anything bigger than the printing size will print as many pages would required
for it to actually print the whole image but blank. Only workaround to print larger snips i have found is to save and then print.

less than helpful. I know Windows 7 has a snipping tool. I want to move the Snipping Tool in Windows 10, which has printing capability built in, to a Windows 7 machine. thanks tho.
