Windows 10: Printing Index Cards

I have a box of old-fashioned index cards (3 x 5) on which I enter information by hand. The reason for this "entering info by hand" is the fact that all printers have a minimum setting of 3.5 x 5 inches. I went to Best Buy and Staples and checked every damn printer they have and each and every one has the 3.5 x 5 minimum setting. I like writing with my old fountain pen from my uni days almost 60 years ago but I am now seriously starting to look for a used typewriter (anyone remembers what that is?). As I grow older I notice that my hands are starting to shake and my writing is not as good as it used to be.

So my question is: Is there any trick to printing 3 x 5 index cards on modern printers? I currently have a Samsung Laser and a Brother Inkjet. Incidentally, I cannot even enter them as 5 x 3 because the printer sliders will only slide to 3.5 inches.

show the back of the card is not available. However, you may get in touch with the publisher of the Index card app, and you may ask for the addition of the said option. Your idea may be reviewed, and might be added on their future updates.

Unable to make changes in Indexing Options

Hello,

We suggest to run the Search and Indexing Troubleshooter and check if it helps with the indexing issue you are experiencing.

Here's how you may run the Search and Indexing Troubleshooter:

• Press the Windows key + X, and then click
  Control Panel.
• Type Troubleshooting, and then click View all.
• Click Search and Indexing.
• Follow the steps provided by the troubleshooter.

Indexing is not working

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

This issue may occur due to corrupt Windows search files or settings. I suggest you to follow the below method and check if it helps.

Method 1: I would suggest you to run search and indexing troubleshooter
and check. Please follow these steps:

• 
  Type troubleshooting in the search box on taskbar.
  
• 
  Click troubleshooting in the search results.
  
• 
  Click "View all" and then click "Search and Indexing".
  
• 
  Click "Next" and follow on-screen instructions.
  

Method 2: Check if Indexing and Windows Search services are enabled. If not, enable them, if they are already enabled, then disable Windows Search Service and then enable again and restart.

• 
  Press Windows key + R.
  
• 
  Type services in the run box, go to the Windows search services and restart them.
