Windows 10: printing issue

Discus and support printing issue in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; I have a brother printer that prints without any problem from other computers in the house.     I have a brother printer that prints without any problem from other computers in the house.


    It used to be fine until recently from my windows 10 PC


    I uninstalled everything from brother, reinstalled, etc ...


    I am able to see the printer ink levels, etc, so it is able to see the printer.


    when I print, I see the queue briefly having one document, but it disappears quickly.


    looking at the logs, this popped up :

  2. Printing issues

    Hi,

    Thank you for your interest in Windows 10.


    • How are you trying to print?

    • Have you tried printing from a different application and checked?
    I suggest you to run Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter.
    Follow these steps to run Hardware and Devices troubleshooter:

    • Press Windows key + X and click on
      Control Panel.
    • Select Troubleshooting.
    • Select View all on the top left corner.
    • Click Printer.
    • Follow the on-screen instruction to run the troubleshooter.
    Also, I suggest you to install the latest chipset and printer drivers from manufacturer website and check if it fixes the issue.

  3. Print to PDF missing in Printer List

    Hi William,

    We suggest that you disable and re-enable the Print to PDF feature. Here are the steps:

    • Click on the Start menu and type in Windows Features.
    • Choose Turn Windows features on or off.
    • On the next window, find Microsoft Print to PDF and disable it. Click
      OK to save changes.
    • Restart your PC.
    • Repeat the same steps to re-enable Microsoft Print to PDF.
    If the issue persists, we suggest that you perform the troubleshooting steps suggested on the link below under
    Advanced:

    Fix printer problems

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
