Windows 10: Printing problem

Hi Am having problems printing from my laptop. Am able to print test pages however cannot print anything else e.g. word, excel. The printer does print the first line of the document and I can hear the printer head continuing to function but no more than the first line is printed. The printer itself will print normally from my phone. So conclude that the printer is ok and hence must be something particular to my laptop and windows. Any help appreciated.

Print to PDF missing in Printer List

Hi William,

We suggest that you disable and re-enable the Print to PDF feature. Here are the steps:

• Click on the Start menu and type in Windows Features.
• Choose Turn Windows features on or off.
• On the next window, find Microsoft Print to PDF and disable it. Click
  OK to save changes.
• Restart your PC.
• Repeat the same steps to re-enable Microsoft Print to PDF.

PDF Printing Problem With Edge

In order to assist you better could you please confirm a couple of things:

• How did you try to print?
• What happens when you try to print?
• Did you receive any error message?

Nevertheless, I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if this helps:

• Open the PDF file which you want to print.
• Click on the Ellipses which is at the top right hand corner of the Edge Browser.
• Select Print option and then click ok.
