Windows 10: Printing Reverses (Negative rather than postive)

My wife just bought a new Windows 10 laptop. I installed our Brother HL-L2360D monotone laser printer using the Windows driver. Everything prints reverse (negative) image, that is, everything that ought to be white is black and everything that ought to be black is white. When I downloaded and installed the Brother driver we can get it to print correctly by checking the "reverse print" box in the printer properties window. I conclude from this that there is a setting somewhere in Windows that is set improperly, but I have looked through all the "settings" and "properties" options I can find in Windows and I cannot find any that even mention reverse printing or negative printing. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you want to use the negative to create a finished picture, or do you want to print the negative image?

Printing the negative image is easy: Scan the negative to a file, and print the file as you would print anything else.

Creating a finished image from a negative is definitely do-able but it's a lot more complicated. You'll start by scanning the negative, but then you'll need specialized software to convert the negative to a finished picture. Windows Paint can't do that.

What exactly are you trying to do, some Applications use different wording from the Printer driver.

Epson refer to "Reverse Order", however the reference to inserting pages again leads me to thinking this is "2-Sided Printing" as Epson refer to it.

Reverse Printing could be
1. Reverse side of sheet.
2. Reverse order of printing pages.
3. Reversed colours.
