Windows 10: Printing several photos to one page

Win10Pro

I select several pictures in file explorer - right click and select print:

It prints each picture to a page rather than offering the usual selection of 1,2,4,9, or 35 to a page.

In Picasa you can select several pictures and then print 3 or 4 on one printer page, can you do this with Microsoft photos? If so how?

Brian, no gor some unknown reason the Photos App cannot do that, but here is how you do it in Windows 10

Open Windows file Explorer, navigate to the folder with the images you want to print

Select all the photos you want to print, (click on and Ctrl click other ones)

Once you have the photos selected, right click on one and choose 'Print'

Select your printer and paper size

On the right hand side in the Print Pictures dialog it will default to Full Page

scroll down and click on xxx(2) to print 2 up or xxx(4) to print 4 up

Then click Print, that's It!

Thanks, yes I suppose that is one way, if the photo's are in different directories then I could copy the to a new directory and print from there.

It's just that is was so easy in Picasa but we are recommended to move from is as it is no longer supported so I am looking at alternatives.

Also niceties such as 'locate on disk' do not seem to be there - it looks to be a poor alternative - I suppose it's what you get used to!
