    Pro Intellimouse tail light stays on after sleep


    The tail light on my new Pro Intellimouse won't go off, even after sleeping the machine. It's plugged into a Dell docking station, which is connected to a Dell Precision laptop. My Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 that's right, that one, from 1996, that lasted me over 20 years did not have this problem in this exact same setup -- the light would indicate whether the machine was asleep or awake. Is there a way to turn it off?

    Classic Intellimouse Tail Light

    Hi,

    I purchased the Classic Intellimouse and downloaded the Mouse and Keyboard Center but I don't see any way to switch off the tail light.

    It looks like this isn't possible with the software, but i'm wondering if it would be possible to turn this light off with a future software update as most modern mice have this ability.
