Hello, 12 August my windows 10 got an update called KB5029244. Everything looked as usual till 15 August. But when i turned on my laptop on 16 August, the design of desktop looked a bit different, almost like windows 11. All of my files saved at desktop dissapeared, only one row of apps stayed. Also the browsers started to download extensions again and i had to log back in. But after i turned off pc and turned it on few days later my pc looked exactly like before that "update". Is it common situation or should I be worried?

  2. Windows Looks.

Hi, I have always loved the looks of the previous versions of windows (Ex: Windows 7, Vista, XP) and was thinking this as a suggestion to implement an application to allow users to change the windows looks without third party software.

  3. change cursor look

    Hi,

I'm Paul, a fellow customer like you & a Windows 10 Independent Advisor. Kindly follow the steps below & you should all be good.

Click "Start" > search "Control Panel" & open it > click the "Mouse icon" > click the "Pointers tab"

    • To give all of your pointers a new look, click the Scheme drop-down list, and then click a new mouse pointer scheme.

    • To change an individual pointer, under Customize, click the pointer you want to change in the list, click Browse, click the pointer you want to use, and then click Open.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any further questions. I'd be glad to help you out.

    Sincerely,

    Paul A.

change windows 10 look to windows 7 look

    ... yes, and no.

If this is strictly a 'look & feel' issue . . . my suggestion is to start getting used to Windows 10 and getting around in it. Things changed with Windows 8/8.1 and they barely went back to a more familiar 'old school' interface with Windows 10 and I wouldn't
expect much more change back to the old ways.

Otherwise - Google is better than asking here. If you insist on hanging on...
