Windows 10: Problem accessing Uplay..

    Problem accessing Uplay..


    I'm getting this message each time I try to Access Uplay

    oddly, it also appears when I try to uninstall FarCry4 from the Programs and Features listing..

    FC4 hasn't run on this PC under Windows10, yet
    so my intention is to uninstall the whole shebang and start again

    - but I can't get access for some odd reason (?)

    PS: I have no recollection of installing or running a "de-bugger", so this is a mystery to me

    Interesting. You don't have uPlay installed at all? Never had it installed in the past? It's not in your system tray area? For me, the controller has never given me a problem unless the uPlay client process is running.

    Same here, in uplay can't even see or search friends it just keep search with no error will uninstall uplay and try that, Will update

    Problem accessing Uplay..

    I get the same thing, both when starting UPlay and starting individual games like FC4 and AC Unity. If I close out the error and try again, it will usually launch.

    Try running them (UPlay and the games) as admin. That seemed to make that error pop up less often for me.

    Seems like it's causing performance issues too. Before I was getting 40-60 FPS with a single card enabled in Far Cry 4 and Unity. Now, I'm averaging around 25. Dying Light, however, I'm getting 100+ FPS.

    I don't think so. I was getting it before I installed any games with PunkBuster.

    So far the internet isn't being very helpful with a cause or explanation either.

    Have you tried re-installing UPlay?
