    I have two monitors with HDMI connections, but my computer has just one HDMI port leading into the graphics card. A couple years ago I got an HDMI to USB-C cable for one of the monitors which had been working fine until a recent Windows update where now whenever I plug the HDMI to USB-C cable into my computer an error notification titled "Unsupported USB-C Audio Adapter" pops up and informs me that I need to "Connect a USB-C digital audio adapter instead." However I am not trying to use and never have used this adapter to transfer audio - I am only using it for display. The adapter was alway
