Windows 10: Problem in running the applications

I open applications in my desktop and they show up in the taskbar and the small pop up of page is show but the page of the application won't be shown instead of desktop I have restarted and shut down and open but nothing happens

Can I run Battlefield 2 on my parents computer?

If I am going to buy something, I want my game to run medium to well as far as game speed and res. I am open to any suggestions and advice on how to match up my new GPU with my old dell dimesions 8400 setup previously listed as the setup at my rents house. I want enough power to run BF2 online well to avoid lag problems. Also does anyone suggest new memory for my BF2 applications?

To assist you better I would like to know the application that you downloaded to open .Rar files.

This issue may arise when some of the Windows components or applications gets corrupted.

I would suggest you to try running Windows store app troubleshooter and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

• 
  Type troubleshooting in the
  Search area on the taskbar.
  
• 
  Click on View all on the left panel of the Troubleshooting Windows.
  
• 
  Select Windows store Apps.
  
• 
  Follow the on screen instruction.
  

If the issue persists, I suggest you to reset the Windows Store and check if it helps.

• Press Windows key + R.
• Type wsreset.exe. Press Enter.
