    Problem installing nuance dragon


    I installed Nuance Dragon on Windows 10 on my virtual PC I use Parallels on my MacBook Pro. Nuance Dragon works, however its site is so tiny I can’t read it. Since I am a longtime Mac user with nominal experience with Windows I assume I’ve done something wrong. If you any suggestions please let me know.

    I have found a conflict between Dragon Pro by Nuance: I cannot print a web page when Dragon is open. Has anyone else had this problem?

    Hi Community,

    Purchased, download and attempted to load Dragon NaturallySpeaking 13 Premium, the following error displayed:

    Error 1402.Could not open key: UNKNOWN\Components\DA42B

    C89BF25F5BD0AF18C3B9B1A1EE8\BF02AE3398358394AB95B2DCB96BF814.

    Have now worked with Nuance Support for considerable time and who have been most helpful, but without a resolution. Nuance most recent response refers, quote.
    "We have done the troubleshooting steps that should have resolved this issue, from downloading a new Dragon installer to creating a new Windows user account. The steps that were done helped us isolate the issue that there could be a problem with your
    workstation and not with the Dragon Software. To prove this, you have mentioned that you were able to install Dragon on a Laptop and a desktop computer.
    The next best step is to contact Microsoft and know why we are not able to access the registry key even with an administrator account"

    We confirm.

    • The Dragon speaking program has loaded correctly to two other PC's running Win 10 64 bit and utilising the same installer.
    • We have had Nuance Support connect remotely and attempt to load utilising a new account and including Hide all Microsoft services, loading from
      msiexec /i <file path of the Dragon msi file> and disabling Firewall, Defender, Malware, but with negative outcome.
    • Further we have provided Nuance with log files pertaining Windows Installer, Event Viewer, System Information File and Setup Log and again without a positive outcome.

    Hopefully an answer can be forthcoming and the matter resolved.
