Windows 10: Problem installing September 17, 2018—KB4464218

I’m have a problem installing September 17, 2018—KB4464218 Windows 10 Build 17134.285.
The error I receive is:

“2018-09 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1803 for x64-based Systems (KB4464218) - Error 0x800705aa”.

Tried the following with no success:
1. Run troubleshooter on “Hardware and Devices” and “Windows Update”. It says it fixed three issues, NO GO.
2. Run sfc/scannow with elevated command prompt, got this error:




3. Run Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth also in elevated prompt, got this error:




Now I’m out of solutions and would appreciate any help.

September CU, "September 11, 2018—KB4457128 (OS Build 17134.285)" Problem

When the September CU, "September 11, 2018—KB4457128 (OS Build 17134.285)" installed on my two Windows 10 PCs, I found that one PC had a serious problem. No Windows system window, e.g., "Task Manager" "Uninstall Updates", System tray entities, nor any MS
Office apps, would display any text, either in the menus or work areas. I tried re-booting a few times to no avail. There was no indication of a problem after the update finished.

I'm wondering if a Registry entry got munged? I would like to NOT have to re-install windows to a prior rev, if possible.

Any ideas?

What version of W10 do you have? Type winver in the search box and run the command that shows up.
