Windows 10: Problem: Kernel PnP 442. My USB Mic doesn't work

I have Windows 10, updated the last version.


I was using with no problem an USB Mic ZOOM H2. As soon as I installed a Focusrite Sound Card, I couldn't make my H2 work anymore.


ZOOM H2 drivers are Ok, Windows still recognice it when I connect the H2 Mic, all sound settings are fine. But the sound is not recieved by windows.


The only strange thing I could discover is:

When I see the "Event Viewer" related to the H2 there are three events:

Event 442 Kernel Pnp

I use my password protected USB (My passport ) suddenly it is not being read says malfunction - but when I do in details

EVENT 442 Kernel Pnp comes up and I can't read on any computer thanks

USB Mic Problems.

The next step is what I suggested originally. Try it in a friend's PC or take it to Best Buy and ask them to try it one of their PC's. Have to confirm the mic is working OK.

 

Windows doesn`t start. Authomatic repair doesn`t work.

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.
