Windows 10: Problem LAN Limited No Internet after upgrade windows

Hello, when i upgrade My school PC from windows 7 ultimate edition to windows 8.1 it looks fine. when setup windows..something is missing it says "couldn't connect to internet".LAN internet driver is still normal. or do I have to upgrade to windows 10 to solve the problem?. is there any solution??. thank you

Most of my suggestions have already been listed.

However, I found Swat4 to actually be a pretty fun LAN game, especially at smaller LAN parties.

If you're using, then I would suggest you to disable that in Internet Explorer as the settings of Internet Explorer applies for Microsoft Edge. Follow the steps:

• Open Internet Explorer.
• Click on tools icon on the top-right corner of the screen and click on
  Internet Options.
• Select Connections tab, then click on LAN settings
  and uncheck the box next to Use a proxy server for your LAN.

Asus P5Q Onboard Lan issues...

I've just reformated my pc, and it all runs fine except for the the onboard lan. I've tried every LAN driver on ASUS list, and I can't get it to work. It keeps searching for the connection, but it never finds it. The internet runs fine on my moms PC, so it can't be the internet provider*Frown Onboard LAN is enables in BIOS, and I did try to clear CMOS without any luck.
Any suggestions? It really sux.... I think the P5Q Pro is a buggy board...
