    Problem logging-in - THIRD TIME.

    That was resolved by a message in notifications that there was a problem with my signing-in. I followed a link, entered my Hello PIN and it was working again. There was still a problem - I was taken to "Ask the Community. We're here to help!" I raised it in Performance Issues November


    Then I had similar problems on the 30th November that I reported in my thread: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...ndows-10/5c5a148a-ead0-43c6-a905-9bcfa8766149

    A slight variation was a warning window "Account Error - Sorry but we can't get to your account right now.To fix this, please sign in again." But the "Sign in link didn't work. As there were no replies from the Community experts I did nothing - I saw no point. Whatever had caused these problems had gone away - until today.



    It's now happened a third time, again in a slightly different way:

    I powered up, was taken to the spotlight screen & "Like what you see?" question. I entered my Hello Pin number and was taken to my desktop. I signed into Edge on my bottom taskbar. On the next rather bland screen I pressed Enter. This took me to the new Outlook Sign-in screen, the one with the options "Try Premium" or "Sign in". I pressed Sign in and was taken to this "Windows Security Screen"

    So I had to enter my Hello PIN again.


    Another screen came up but I couldn't capture it as it was there only for a split-second.


    I was then taken to my Inbox at last.


    I'd appreciate advice on this please.


    Please don't merge these three threads - the symptoms in each are different. Thanks.

    Hi,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

    I suggest you to try the following steps:

    • Open the Time & Language Settings page by click on search and typing time and language.
    • Make sure that English (United States) is listed. If not, click on “Add a language”, and follow the steps to add the language
    • Click on “English (United States)”, then click on the “Options” button.
    • Set the Country and region setting to the United States
    • Log off and log in.

    Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...


    That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
    a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
    b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

    I suggest Option 1 is easier.

    If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.

    MW2 Problem

    I think the game is booting, then Steam is trying to boot, but is hanging during the login process, hell it may be sitting there wait for you to enter your password.

    Try this, turn Steam On and log in. Click on the game listed in the "My Games" tab to start MW2 and see if the problem continues. If that does not work, you have 2 other suggestions above.
