Windows 10: Problem: Redundant languages in the language bar

I have on the language bars redundant languages, namely: English UK and English International, although my current language settings are configured to Arabic Saudi Arabia and English US.

Language bar in 1709 not showing KB input language

The language bar in the fall creators update shows the system language instead of the KB input language when the taskbar is set to show small icons.

I don't know why they added that feature in the first place, as the system language is completely unnecessary and redundant information.

How can I change the behaviour of the language bar to show the KB input language?

Thanks, but that shortcut is only helpful if the language actually appears in the language bar. My problem was that my primary language did not appear in the language bar.

I will leave feedback as you suggest.

Hello, try left clicking the language bar icon, click Language Preferences, click Additional date, time....,

You should see sthg like




(you won't see those colours!) but hopefully you can then delete unwanted items, clicking Options (to the right of those) as necessary.
