Windows 10: Problem Related Regarding BRIGHTNESS

Hi I am facing a issue of brightness. When my laptop is plugged in the screen brightness is much and when laptop is unplugged in dims. My brightness is set to full only. When I go to BIOS, it shows a slider that in unplugged its 50% and when plugged its 100% and I am unable to change the slider. Please resolve my issue. Please refer to the image below. Method 1: Disable Adaptive Brightness.

Method 2: Built in Troubleshooter.

Please follow the steps below:

• Type “Troubleshooting” on the Windows Search bar and hit enter.
• On the left side of the Troubleshooting window, click on “View all”
• Click on Printer. Please provide a password if asked for it and click ok. (Follow the onscreen instructions)

Brightness Control not working in Windows 10

Hi Ella,

To adjust the brightness, see the steps below:

• Go back to Power Options, and tick on the High performance.
• See if you can adjust the brightness.

If this not work, we highly suggest that you create an Administrator account, and re-do the steps above.

Windows 10 Screen Brightness Problem

You may use color calibration to make changes to screen brightness and contrast. Kindly follow the steps below and see if the help.

• Press Windows key and go to Settings > System > Display.
• Click on Advanced Display Settings.
• Click on Color Calibration under Related Settings.
• Provide password (if any) for the UAC prompt and click on OK.
• Click on next and follow the on screen prompts to adjust the brightness and contrast.
