Windows 10: Problem: Twice, Microsoft Authenticator lost my iCloud backup (September 28, 2018)

When I reset my iPhone 6s, I can only hope the Microsoft Authenticator app actually backed up my login codes like it said it did. This morning, I added my Dropbox account login code back to Microsoft Authenticator. I hope Microsoft is working on a serious fix to ensure it's able to recover my codes on any iOS device (iPhones and iPads) as well as any Apple Watch I tell Microsoft to have my two-factor authentication login codes on! If this helps, I have to exit out of Microsoft Authenticator and open it back up in order for the backup to my iCloud account to update after I add a new login code to the app. I find that very unintuitive and definitely worth addressing. I hope Microsoft isn't too focused on fixing bugs in the Apple Watch version of the app they've released not that long ago. If there are bugs that could prevent a function of the app from working entirely just when you need it to, why even release it?

•Starting in March 2017, a delta package will be available on the Microsoft Update Catalog for Windows 10 version 1607 and newer. This delta package contains just the delta changes between the previous month and the current release.

Authentication problem with iCloud (after two-factor authentication enabled for appleid)

Hi Andree, my understanding on Microsoft Authenticator is for generating the 2nd level security code for my Microsoft Account only. Now the problem I am facing is that my Win 10 PC cannot authenticate with Apple iCloud which has 2-factor authentication
just turned on. Can you further elaborate as I might have missed something ?
