Windows 10: Problem typing Vietnamese with accented characters

Hi, I recently installed windows 10 version 21H2 on an old Dell laptop and noticed the integrated Vietnamese Telex keyboard for Windows is not working as great as it used to on other PCs. Here's what my issue looks like when typing on a search bar: "hiệnchuaw có tínhnangw bật tắtgui này"Somehow when I spaced to type the next word, windows deleted the space and "stuck" two words together like that. On some other occasions, it altered my characters into "ñ", "Ü", etc. Personally, I think this is because I accidentally turned on "Accent typing assist" during installation. Typing in Vietnamese questions

I have English and Vietnamese keyboards installed in my Windows 10 PC.

1. When I am using the Vietnamese keyboard, how can I type numbers, parentheses, percent symbols, and other characters that are usually a 'shift-number' keystroke? When I try this, I get Vietnamese letters. Do I have to switch back to the English keyboard
for those characters? I am sure that the Vietnamese people use percent signs and parentheses so there must be a way to type them.

2. Does anyone know of a physical English/Vietnamese keyboard that shows the character layout on the keys? Having the onscreen keyboard displayed really is not very helpful.

How to Type Vietnamese Text (Window 10)

The first step is to switch the keyboard from English (or your current language) to Vietnamese. Look at the bottom of right of the screen, we will see “ENG” for English. Click on it and select “VIE”
for Vietnamese.

Special Vietnamese Characters:

ă = 1

â = 2

ê = 3

ô = 4

đ = 0

ư = [

ơ = ]

Huyền (〵) =
5

Hỏi (ϩ) = 6

Ngã (∼) = 7

Sắc (〳) = 8


Nặng (・) = 9

ALT (on the left side)
> NUMBERS (1-9)

ALT + SHIFT (on the left side)
> SYMBOLS (! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) _ +)
